What We're Looking For

🚀 At Catapult, we're looking for exceptional engineers to join us as we re-imagine the entire trade lifecycle in the digital asset financial markets, starting with the OTC markets.
Achieving this requires leveraging the latest in LLMs/ML, finance/mathematics, and requires an engineer with the deep skills to both build incredible traditional systems as well as quickly learn and contribute in the use of cutting edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Articulate a long-term technical vision for building, maintaining, and scaling products.
- Be able to learn quickly and contribute to discussion and development across a number of different areas, including in UI/UX development, LLMs/ML, databases, and system design.
- Build out battle-ready and systems at speed, with a real emphasis on pro-active testing.
- Manage backend infrastructure and ensure security, availability, and scalability.
- As we scale, grow into a role as a senior member and culture builder.
Requirements
- Be able to develop the architecture of a complete solution and help guide the team through implementation. We are especially interested in people who have done so in environments of uncertainty.
- At least 1 year of experience leading a team or in other senior positions.
- 7+ years of experience as a world-class individual contributor.
- At least two of the following
- 3+ years of experience with core ****front-end technologies, including: React and TypeScript.
- 4+ years of experience working on backend systems, ideally with experience bootstrapping these systems from scratch.
- 1+ years working with LLMs or otherwise working on ML related projects.
- Experience working with SQL and no-SQL databases**,** e.g. MongoDB, Firebase, MySQL, Postgres.
- Have the communication skills to mentor and manage more junior team members.
Helpful
- An interest in finance. Personal projects in finance or related work experience is especially helpful, but a basic understanding and interest to learn more may suffice.
